Special Exhibitions
In
its temporary 1500 s.f. gallery space in Binns-Merrill Hall on the
Alfred University campus, the Schein-Joseph International Museum
of Ceramic Art offers exhibitions focusing on its permanent collections,
temporary exhibits on varying topics ranging from the whiteware
industry and conspicuous applications of advanced ceramics to the
cutting edge of contemporary ceramics and historical exhibits as
well. Related educational programming is offered which varies with
each exhibition.

Directions to Museum:
From Interstate 86 / State Route 17 (Southern
Tier Expressway), Exit 33 in Almond. Follow signs for Alfred
University to Route 21 south and to Route 244 into Alfred. When
Route 244 bears right up the hill, continue straight into the
village on Main Street and turn Left into the Alfred University
Campus on Pine Street at the stop light. Visitor parking is
on the Right on the second block. The Museum's temporary 1500
sf gallery is located in Binns-Merrill Hall (Building #17).
